There was a Youth Convergence in our church last week of November and many youth from other churches came and joined in the said event. There were more than a hundred of them. And the speaker came from Manila who happened to come to Bacolod every now and then. He was so enthusiastic that many youth were challenged and wanted to be a part of the movement to reach many for the Lord.
Somehow, youth these days were given another marching order to keep the flame burning in their hearts to continue serving the Master. And to allow their minds to work and be a part of the great harvest.
The oldest and the youngest persons who attended the Women’s Conference in Baguio City last May 16-20. The oldest was already 84 years old and the youngest was only 17. Koleen was the only child and since she’s the only child her mom brought her with the father of course. And Nanay the oldest was brought by her daughter who attended in the said conference. We had fun and we enjoyed the long travel and the cold place of Baguio.
We joined in hearts together that net time perhaps we would be going out with our kids and we will enjoy the fun together with our family.
Hubby attended a national conference like this and had the time to be refreshed and gained strength. It’s a Biennial Conference. It was a memorable week for him as what he told me. He learned many things and gained friends as well. It was held in Cebu City. Most of the church of CBAP joined and participated in the said event. I missed it since I had my work and needed to stay, sigh! Hope to join next time.
It’s been an exciting moment for me and hubby and some of our friends from the church. We headed to Baguio and attended in a conference. It’s first time for hubby and he’s enjoying his stay. Last Tuesday we traveled from Handumanan, Bacolod City to Manila. Then Manila to Baguio. The trip was strenuous but exciting because many of our friends are first timers to visit Baguio. Anyhow, we came safely. We woke up around 3am and headed to the airport. We flew around 6:45am and reached Manila 15 minutes before the allotted time. So instead of passing to our friend’s house we went straight to the Victory Liner and took a ticket for Baguio. There were 16 of us and 3 were the husbands. At least they were responsible for our baggage. We reached Baguio around 5pm. And we went straight to the Teachers’ Camp where the cheapest lodge is available. Thank God for the safe travel. It was indeed a memorable and enjoyable moment for us- young once upon a time, LOL!
We’ll be going to Baguio next week with some friends, and other members in our church to attend a women’s conference. It will be an exciting experience since hubby will be joining us and the other 2 friends. Will there be any hotels in the area?
We will be looking for hotels that could accommodate us. It’s exciting right? Going to different places is a memorable experience I guess. However, we need to prepare some amount to spend, huh!
Hubby is preparing to go and attend the Biennial Conference of CBAP (our church organization) in Cebu next week. They will be going this Sunday evening after our baptism. It will be a hectic schedule for me since hubby is helping me most of the time especially for the kids. Anyway, I will be preparing many things again. Hubby and our pastor and the other member are now preparing for the possibilities of connecting to other people as well. And they are now excited to go, huh!
